The lovers card, in tarot, symbolizes symbiosis. Partnership, decision making, balance and harmony.

In my depiction, "the lovers" are lifting each others heads off their shoulders, a metaphor for keeping each other balanced, ensuring their heads are on straight. This represents how these characters rely on each other, but also the complicated relationship they share.

I have many versions of this piece and I can't decide if I like any of them.
