I decided to combine Option 1 and the Artist's Choice; Eros having been convinced to help Han with an experiment, only for it to turn out that it would transform him into a mole rat. Han knew very well this would happen, but... seeing how Eros had been treating him, this only seemed fair.
The mole rat transformation is official for Eros! I was planning to make it more detailed but have gotten really sick over the last few days, so I resorted to a more atmospheric 'scratchy' style which I think fits the mood pretty well and was also easier on me :)
