Traits

Decaying Stardust

Decaying Stardust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows stardust opacity from 1% to 9%. This trait also permits stardust with a change in opacity fading in one direction (i.e. A limb with 80% stardust opacity that fades evenly to 1% at the fingertips/paw).

Patterned Stardust

Patterned Stardust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for Stardust to have colors that appear in patterns other than a linear gradient. This includes stripes, galaxy patterns, and more. The patterns may be lined or unlined in the stardust (i.e. full stardust tail with outlined stardust hearts). All stardust opacity must be the same.

Comet Dust

Comet Dust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows stardust opacity from 81% to 99%. This trait also permits stardust with a change in opacity fading in one direction (i.e. A limb with 99% stardust opacity that fades evenly to 10% at the fingertips/paw).

Dust-Encased Cores

Dust-Encased Cores (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows internal parts of the Constellion to be visible through the stardust. Internal parts can include skeletal systems, organs, and other items realistically found in a body such as items to treat injuries or illness. This trait does not allow placement of objects inside the stardust that would not ordinarily be found in a body, such as toys, creatures, plants, etc.

Flux Stardust

Flux Stardust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for blending between the stardust and fur. The opacity may only fade over the fur part of the body (i.e. if the arm is full stardust from fingertips to elbow, that must all have the same opacity, but then from elbow to shoulder, as the fur begins to show, the opacity may be reduced.)

Metachromatic Stardust

Metachromatic Stardust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for stardust that changes colors and/or patterns. It can appear as animation, iridescence, TV static, or still colors and/or patterns that change at will. This trait does not allow stardust opacity to change or for the shape of the stardust to change.

Metamorphic Stardust

Metamorphic Stardust (Arcane)

Category: Stardust
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for stardust that can change shape or appear to have elemental textures such as water, fire, and slime. Shape changes do not change the shape outline between fur and stardust. The stardust texture can appear like dripping water or flickering flames or can appear to change size such as horns that can become larger or smaller. This trait does not allow the stardust shape to mimic other traits such as changing from a stardust fish tail to a stardust lizard tail unless the constellion carries these traits as well (i.e. list includes both a lizard tail trait and a fish tail trait). This trait does not allow traits to completely disappear such as stardust horns that can be completely removed.

Elemental Star Scales

Elemental Star Scales (Arcane)

Category: Star Scales
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for multi-colored star scales with elemental texture such as water, fire, and slime to be placed anywhere on the body. The star scales can be shape-changing within the set elemental texture like dripping water or flickering flames. The star scales cannot change between other types of shapes such as changing from star-shaped to heart-shaped.

Star Scales are super-condensed solid stardust bits. The opacity for all star scales must be 100%.

Patterned Star Scales

Patterned Star Scales (Arcane)

Category: Star Scales
Species: Constellion

This trait allows for multi-colored, star scales with any shape to be placed anywhere on the body.

Star Scales are super-condensed solid stardust bits. The opacity for all star scales must be 100%.

Unusual Horns

Unusual Horns (Arcane)

Category: Body
Species: Constellion

This trait allows a Constellion to have one or two sets of horns (or antlers) with an unnatural shape. This can include typical 2-horn pairs with a horn on each side of the head, 3-horn sets where a horn is also placed between the nose and eyes, or 1-2 horns placed only between the nose and eyes (like a rhinoceros). For sets of 2-3, if a horn is broken, the base of the horn must still be visible. These horns do not have to be based on real-world creatures, but instead can be shaped like objects or other unusual shapes.  A maximum of 4 horns are permitted with this trait.
